Which Model UN Institute Program Is Right For Your Child?

Ages 14-18

DSC_0297Diplomat Program (Beginners)- Is your child new to Model UN? If you child has never done Model United Nations before, or is still getting used to the basics, we recommend our Diplomat Program. In our Diplomat Program we teach skills crucial to success in school and in life. With interactive lessons built around public speaking, research, negotiation, and world affairs, students walk away prepared to participate in Model UN conferences and learn from this life-changing activity. No previous experience required!

DSC_8925Ambassador Program (Advanced)- If your child is more experienced with Model UN, and is looking to learn advanced skills or win awards at Model UN conferences, we recommend our Ambassador Program. At our Ambassador Program we teach students specific skills like body language and tone in public speaking, how to write college-level research papers, and how to be a leader for other students in their committees in Model UN. If your student is looking to step up their Model UN performance, and has participated in at least 2 conferences, they should attend our Ambassador Program!

Crisis Program (Advanced)- Crisis Committees are a unique, dynamic, and fun type of Model UN simulation that teach students about international conflicts and foreign policy. Students in our crisis program learn how to future world leaders by learning how to solve complex challenges, practicing impromptu speaking, and discussing innovative ideas in a fast-paced and fun setting. Students who have attended at least 2 Model UN conferences and are looking to learn more about Crisis Committees should try our Crisis Program!


_MG_9267Secretary-General Program (Leadership)-
Model UN is more than just the experience delegates have debating in committee- Model UN gives students incredible opportunities to be leaders of their Model UN club or conference. Our Secretary-General Program is for students that have attended 4 or more Model UN conferences, and are looking to learn how to organize and lead their fellow students, teach Model UN to others, and even run their own conference.

Ages 11-13

Ages 9-10

– For students aged 9-10, we’re excited to offer our Mini Diplomat Program, which features kid-friendly lessons on the world’s biggest challenges and what we can do to solve them! Students will learn about different countries, foreign cultures, and how to work together to solve global problems. Through our Mini Diplomat program, students will experience what it’s like to be a world leader for a week — while making new friends! No previous experience required!
